    By a good corporate tradition of TEDIS Ukraine, a regular meeting of graduates from «SCHMEL» school of management and effective leadership was held in Odesa on 19 September, 2016. This year over 40 TEDIS Ukraine regional structural subdivisions heads and managers from different cities of Ukraine met in Odesa. They were joined by 14 graduates of this year who presented graduation papers on effective management and who were awarded certificates of a successful completion of a two-year course of studies.

    TEDIS Ukraine has been ranked 102nd in the Deloitte CE Top 500 report, which is made annually by the audit company Deloitte on the basis of the companies’ financial performance.

    Distribution company TEDIS Ukraine transferred UAH 649.43 million of taxes and charges to the different level budgets during first 6 months of the 2016. In particular, it was paid UAH 391.78 million of excise duties to the national budget in different Ukrainian districts, UAH 148.74 million of value added tax, UAH 48.65 million of profit tax and UAH 2.48 of other taxes. It was transferred UAH 29.64 million of income taxes from salaried employees to the local budgets, UAH 2.19 of military tax and others. The company transferred UAH 25.95 million to the Social Insurance Fund and Pension Fund of Ukraine (Unified Social Tax). TEDIS Ukraine contributed UAH 647.12 million to the budget for the same period in 2015.

    The official publication of the State Fiscal Service “Visnyk. Ofitsiyno pro podatky” [Bulletin. Officially about Taxes] announced the rating of the largest taxpayers to the consolidated budget of Ukraine according to the results of the first quarter of 2016. TEDIS Ukraine took the 32nd place in the rating of 100 largest taxpayers of Ukraine.

    Iryna Ivasiuk, head of the human resources department of TEDIS Ukraine Distribution Company, shared her experience of effective communications at the HR-experts conference «HR Wisdom Summit #4». Her presentation was «Orienteering in the Field. How not to Become a Misunderstood HR». When delivering her report, Iryna gave practical tips on making ideas clear to the boss so that they are welcome, on giving inspiration, enjoying work and becoming a success.

    Trading company «Megapolis-Ukraine» is considering an opportunity to introduce electric cars in its logistics processes. The company has already purchased one minivan with electric engine - Nissan e-NV200 class «L». It is being used in a test mode by a Kyiv regional branch for the product delivery to points of sale.

    For a second day running, an attempt at a hostile takeover of «Megapolis-Ukraine» Company has been made. Since 12 January, people wearing camouflage under the cover of non-governmental organizations’ activists have been illegally blocking the work of «Megapolis-Ukraine» Company. These persons’ actions are absolutely groundless, they are illegal and are of destabilizing nature in general.

    The information that «Megapolis-Ukraine» Trading Company is a branch of the Russian «Megapolis» Group of Companies and is part of «Mercury» Group of Companies is not true. The owners of «Megapolis-Ukraine» Trading Company Ltd. are citizens of Ukraine, Ireland and the UK. Thus, there are neither Russian companies nor Russian citizens, Ihor Kesaev being one of them, among its direct or indirect owners.

    TEDIS Ukraine sums up «For Clean Ukraine!» annual environmental campaign that aims at cleaning up the environment. This year, 418 employees of the company participated in the campaign; they cleaned and beautified green belts of 22 cities of Ukraine. This initiative is one of numerous projects within the framework of TEDIS Ukraine corporate social responsibility.
